New Policies & Rates for 2010;
- A ONE vehicle per site policy will be in place next season. An extra vehicle fee of $5.00 per day will apply, but only if it will fit onto the site without blocking passage. If it doesn't fit then the same per day fee will apply to the overflow parking lot. If you bring a third vehicle it will be turned away! Due to the new HST I have reduced the new extra vehicle fee to $5.00 per day from $10.00.
- A new visitor fee of $10.00 per person per day, children under the age of 9 are free, will also be in place next season. (Five vistors only at one time, or at the discrestion of the manager.)
- Visitor parking will be limited to one vehicle per site, only if it fits, and will also cost $5.00 per day. (Parking pass required.)
- A new late check out fee of $50.00 may be applied to your credit card, at the discrestion of the manager.
- Due to bug control only local BC firewood will be allowed into the campground. Leave it at home or lose it.
- All full & partial hook up campsite rates have increased $5.00 each per day, with the exception of the beachfront sites.
New Tax:
- Due to the new Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) from the government I will now be required to tax all campsite rentals at 12 %. If you feel this tax is unfair I urge everyone to complain to their MLA, as I have done.
Beachfront Trailer Rental Sites: NEW VENTURE
- Sites # 154 & 155 have been converted to trailer rental sites for those who don't want to bring a camping unit. Minimum stay of one week and maximum two weeks (at the discretion of the manager). The cost will be $1,300 per week. As this is a new venture more information will be released soon.
