About Us

Greg Witzky is the manager/operator of Pierre's Point Campground. We are a 100% First Nations owned and operated business, and are all from the local area.  The First Nations bannock food concession is no longer available.  Instead, regular campground basics like burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, nachos, and french fries is on the menu.

The business name is G & B Bannock and Camping but we operate as Pierre's Point Campground.  I hope this clears up any confusion when you see your credit card bill, or locate us on the internet.

Greg lives on site for the entire camping season, which adds an extra sense of secruity to the family only atmosphere.  Most of the staff also live on site and give up their summer season making sure you have a memorable stay with us.

Our staff are friendly but very strict when it comes to enforcing the campground rules & policies.  We cater to the family atmosphere and don't welcome the loud and profane partiers.  Quiet time is important to us because most of our customers bring small children to the campground.  If it's a drunken camping party you are looking for then this is NOT the campground for you.  Remember loud noise carries a long way in the open air.

Many of our clients are appreciative return customers and we wish to keep them coming back for more.  Pierre's Point Campground is fast becoming a true family experience geared towards those looking for a summer retreat that they can count on to be quiet and safe.

If you are unaware of the mainline CP train tracks bordering the fenced in campground then I would like to inform you that it is a busy line, which can be very noisy at times.  They do go by fast though about 15 - 20 times day and night.
