About Us (Please read News) Greg Witzky is the manager/operator of Pierre's Point Campground. We are a 100% First Nations owned and operated business, and most staff are from the local area. The campground is located right next to one of our communities, so we ask that you respect our community members like you wish to be treated in your own neighbourhood. The business name is G & B Bannock and Camping but we operate as Pierre's Point Campground. I hope this clears up any confusion when you see your credit card bill, or locate us on the internet. Greg lives on site for the entire camping season, which adds an extra sense of secruity to the family only atmosphere. Most of the staff also live on site and give up their summer season making sure you have a memorable stay with us. Our staff are friendly but very strict when it comes to enforcing the campground rules & policies. We cater to the family atmosphere and don't welcome the loud and profane partiers. Quiet time is important to us because most of our customers bring small children to the campground. If it's a drunken camping party you are looking for then this is NOT the campground for you. Remember loud noise carries a long way in the open air. Many of our clients are appreciative return customers and we wish to keep them coming back for more. Pierre's Point Campground is fast becoming a true family experience geared towards those looking for a summer retreat that they can count on to be quiet and safe. The BC Family French Camp will be renting half of the campground, sites # 1 to 88, for the 2nd and 3rd weeks of July. These sites are no longer available during this time of the year. If you are unaware of the mainline CP train tracks bordering the fenced in campground then I must inform you that it is a busy train line, which can be very noisy at times. They do go by fast though at about 10-15 times a day and a few more at night. Sometimes when they are backed up the CP sends their trains every 15-20 minutes until they are back on schedule. Ear plugs work great at night! |
